Beauty products fall into the large category of health and beauty. There are many products available to people wanting to look and feel their best. While on first thought, beauty products might be designated for women, there are many things that are made for men that are part of the beauty product industry.

Beauty products include items like hair care, makeup and moisturizers. Hair care is used by everyone – hygiene is important in modern society, and anyone who washes or styles hair uses hair care products. As well, lotions and moisturizers are used by all ages, sexes and races. Dry skin afflicts many people in many climates, and the best way to prevent and care for it is using moisturizing lotion.

Beauty products such as cosmetics are used most by women. Makeup is its own sector in the health and beauty industry, as there are so many makeup products that can be used. From foundation to lipstick to cleansing products that remove makeup, there is a large selection of beauty products available in any grocery, drug or beauty supply store.
